Josh Bycel
Founder & Executive Director

Josh Bycel has been a writer/producer for twenty years. He was the Executive Producer/Showrunner of ABC’s “Scrubs” and “Happy Endings”, NBC’s “Telenovela” and Fox’s “LA To Vegas”. He was also under an overall deal at NBC Universal for four years. He has written and produced TV shows for ABC, CBS, Fox, NBC, USA, Comedy Central, the WB and MTV. He has also written for the Academy Awards, hosted by Jon Stewart, and the MTV Movie Awards. He founded OneKid OneWorld in 2006.
Tracy McCubbin

In addition to being Co-Executive Director of OneKidOneWorld, Tracy McCubbin is also the CEO of dClutterfly, one of America’s top decluttering companies. In the last two decades, she has helped thousands of clients clear the clutter in their lives to create space for positive life changes. Tracy is also the author of Making Space, Clutter Free and her latest book Make Space for Happiness. She joined the OneKid OneWorld family in 2006 at the request of the founder and childhood friend, Josh Bycel. She accompanied Josh and 5 volunteers on One Kid’s first trip abroad to volunteer at the Nymasare School, and has never looked back.
Peter Omondi McOdida

A graduate of School of Development and Social Studies, Moi University, Kenya, Peter began his career in marketing and social research sectors in 1991 until 2000 when he joined International Medical Corps East Africa operations as Program Development Officer. Peter served IMC for 8 years in various positions including Deputy Director, Programs Director and Country Director/Representative and developed effective and responsive interventions to address health (HIV/AIDS, Malaria, TB, Nutrition, water and sanitation) and livelihood security needs of the poor.
Peter brings into OneKid OneWorld considerable experience in working with needy populations to design activities that address their immediate needs as wells as build their capacity to address them in a sustainable way. He currently serves in various local and global leadership positions:

Global co-Chair: WHO Roll Back Malaria Advocacy Working Group
U.S. PVO Representative to the Africa Liaison program initiative.
Sharon Lemire
Social Media and Development Manager

Sharon Lemire joined the OneKid team in April of 2018 to assist with development and social media. She has a Master’s degree in Social work from the University of New Hampshire with a concentration in Community Impact and Resource Development. Sharon has worked with large nonprofits across the country including United Way, YMCA, and Boys & Girls Clubs. She is passionate about closing the opportunity gap by providing youth in underserved areas with access to quality education and resources.
Matt Shershow
Director of Special Projects

Matt Shershow has been working in the non-profit world for years, mostly putting on events and raising money for organizations as diverse as the Democratic National Committee, Special Olympics of Southern California and the Los Angeles Free Clinic. As a Senior Event Manager at UCLA he produced the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books and UCLA’s Commencement Exercises. Matt has been with OneKid OneWorld since it’s founding. Matt is very pleased to be working with OneKid OneWorld since it allows him to complete the “Trifecta of Philanthropy”: public health, social action and education.
